Learn about how the Junior League directly impacts our community. The Junior League partners with organizations that need our help whether through direct financial support or by providing hands on volunteers.
JLQC is especially proud of the following projects:
• Project funding and coordination for the $200,000 universally accessible playground at Bettendorf’s McManus (Rocket) Park
• Founding sponsor of the Susan G. Komen Quad Cities Race for the Cure
• $50,000 donation to the Bettendorf Learning Campus
• Support of the Family Resources domestic violence shelter and other Family Resources programs
• After school art and crafts program for the Boys and Girls Club
• Kaleidoscope – an arts education and awareness program
• Year of the River, which resulted in ongoing events such as Ride the River and Riverfront Pops concert and the formation of RiverAction
